Gold Chain Snatched from Woman Doctor on Duty Inside SKMCH, Bike-Borne Robbers Caught on Camera

Two motorcycle-borne criminals snatched a gold chain from gynaecologist Dr Madhulata Singh in broad daylight on Friday as she walked to duty inside the SKMCH campus in north Bihar.

A brazen daylight robbery inside the campus of Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH), one of north Bihar's premier healthcare institutions, has triggered serious safety concerns. Two unidentified criminals riding a motorcycle targeted an on-duty female physician within the hospital boundaries on Friday afternoon, snatching a gold chain from her neck before fleeing unhindered. The daring assault has sparked acute anxiety and intense resentment among resident doctors, medical staff, and healthcare personnel working across the facility.

Targeted Near Post-Mortem House While Walking to Duty

The victim has been identified as Dr Madhulata Singh, who serves as a gynaecologist in the MCH department at SKMCH. On Friday afternoon, she was walking on foot from her official residence in the Doctors' Colony toward the MCH wing to report for her routine shift. As she reached the vicinity of the post-mortem house inside the premises, two men riding an Apache motorcycle approached her from behind. In a sudden ambush, the pillion rider pounced forward, ripped the gold chain from around her neck, and sped away within seconds.

It is really scary to see such incidents happening inside a hospital campus where even doctors are not safe, wonder what happens to common patients. Police must catch these bike-borne criminals soon.

Rohan, fear is natural, but with the bike and description clearly on CCTV, I doubt the police will let them get away this easily.
