Starting its run with an opening of just 10 lakh rupees, the film has maintained an extraordinary hold at ticket counters across the country, transforming strong word of mouth into record-breaking box office figures.
Record Smashing Sixth Weekend Momentum
On its 37th day, which marked its sixth Saturday, the film pulled in an astonishing 18.50 crore rupees net. In doing so, it comfortably eclipsed the previous milestone held by Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar, which had earned 5.75 crore rupees at a similar juncture. Hanuman Ansh surpassed that mark by more than three times, setting an unprecedented benchmark for sixth-week earnings.
The momentum accelerated further on the 38th day, its sixth Sunday, with box office receipts surging by 21.6 percent. Recording an average theater occupancy of 54 percent throughout the day, the film collected 22.50 crore rupees on Sunday alone. This capped a stellar three-day weekend run that began with 10.50 crore rupees on Friday, followed by 18.50 crore on Saturday and 22.50 crore on Sunday.
Impressive Theater Occupancy Across Show Timings
Across India, the Hindi 2D version achieved an overall occupancy of 59.98 percent on its 38th day. The day commenced with morning shows recording 41.31 percent attendance, which rose sharply to 68.85 percent during the afternoon slots. Evening shows witnessed peak demand with an occupancy of 74.69 percent, while late night screenings concluded the day strongly at 55.08 percent.
Total Collections and Annual Box Office Standings
Following this massive weekend, the total domestic net earnings for Hanuman Ansh have reached 214.63 crore rupees, with the domestic gross collection rising to 253.55 crore rupees. On the global stage, factoring in both domestic numbers and overseas ticket sales, the worldwide gross haul now stands at 268.05 crore rupees.
By crossing the double century threshold, Hanuman Ansh has cemented its position as the third highest grossing Hindi film of 2026 in India. The surge allowed it to overtake Bhoot Bangla, which previously held the spot with a lifetime total of 199.23 crore rupees. The top two rankings of the year remain with Dhurandhar 2, which leads with 1186.32 crore rupees, and Border 2, which occupies second place with 362.76 crore rupees.
From A Modest Start To Box Office Gold
The financial turnaround of the project is among the rarest phenomenons witnessed in modern theatrical business. During its first week, the film managed to collect only 1.08 crore rupees, before slipping further to 40 lakh rupees in its second week. However, business completely turned around in week three, leading to an astonishing 61 crore rupees in its fourth week and an even larger 90.25 crore rupees in week five.
Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the narrative is inspired by the life of Neem Karoli Baba, with actor Shobhinav Satya delivering the central performance.
