Upcoming Release For Investigative Thriller Daayra
Alongside her festive updates, Kareena is gearing up for the theatrical arrival of her upcoming project Daayra, in which she stars alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the feature is scheduled to hit cinema screens on 18 September. Inspired by real-life happenings, the plot delves into themes of crime, punitive consequences, and the intense social debate surrounding immediate retribution versus deliberate legal justice. It explores the immediate public outrage that erupts following a severe offense, followed by the rigorous legal proceedings and police investigations required to deliver justice. Promoting the venture, the filmmakers recently released the track titled Sach Ka Daayra, rendered by vocalist B Praak with lyrics penned by veteran lyricist Gulzar.
