The festive fervour of Ganeshotsav reached a joyful high at actor Shilpa Shetty's residence as her entire family gathered to bid an affectionate farewell to Lord Ganesha. In video footage capturing the visarjan rituals, the actor was seen dancing wholeheartedly to the beats of traditional dhols, fully immersed in the celebration. Her husband Raj Kundra soon joined in the dancing beside her, while their children Viaan and Samisha, sister Shamita Shetty, and mother Sunanda Shetty actively participated in the ceremony.

Family members embraced festive cultural wear for the auspicious day. Raj Kundra and son Viaan wore matching yellow kurtas, while Shilpa Shetty and daughter Samisha coordinated in elegant traditional Nauvari sarees. Both Shamita Shetty and Sunanda Shetty accompanied them throughout the rituals of the immersion procession. Shilpa has maintained an annual tradition of hosting Ganpati celebrations at her home for several years, actively taking part in every phase from welcoming the idol home to completing all related religious proceedings.
Glimpses of Family Aarti and Pooja on Social Media
Prior to the visarjan ceremony, the actor offered her followers a look into the home festivities through photographs uploaded to her Instagram account. The pictures featured the family standing together in devotional prayer before the deity. Accompanying the photographs was Shilpa's caption welcoming the arrival with the exclamation that they are back alongside Ganpati Bappa Morya. She also shared a video clip displaying the family performing the ceremonial aarti and reverently conducting the pooja rituals.
Film Industry Friends Join the Festivities
Several friends from the film industry arrived at the residence to take part in the festive occasion. Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani were seen arriving to join the celebration, while Bipasha Basu and husband Karan Singh Grover visited accompanied by their daughter Devi. Outside the venue, the families posed together for photographers gathered near the entrance. Shilpa Shetty married Raj Kundra in 2009. The couple welcomed their son Viaan in 2012, followed by the birth of their daughter Samisha via surrogacy in 2020.
