In line with this objective, a total of 219 villages spanning across the districts of Moradabad, Sambhal, and Amroha have been officially brought under the territorial jurisdiction of the MDA. Authorities are now preparing to initiate targeted development works in a planned manner across these rural and semi-urban pockets. The initiative places a strong emphasis on delivering better and modern civic amenities to the residents living in these newly incorporated zones in the near future.
Under the comprehensive blueprint devised by the MDA, these villages are set to witness significant improvements, ranging from upgraded sanitation systems to the development of public parks, medical infrastructure, and other essential public utilities. Furthermore, localized requirements will dictate targeted enhancements in roads, drainage networks, and other foundational infrastructure. Bringing these 219 villages into the MDA fold establishes a clear pathway to steer regional growth systematically, raising expectations for modern living standards among local populations.
The overarching goal of the MDA is to ensure that these areas develop in an organized fashion while extending improved facilities to the populace. With this expansion, obtaining prior permission and official sanction from the Moradabad Development Authority has been made mandatory before undertaking any construction activity within these boundaries. Anyone carrying out construction without getting an official map sanctioned will find their structure classified as illegal, inviting strict administrative measures.
Master Plan Formulation and Official Insights
Rajesh Yadav, an official associated with town and country planning within the Moradabad Development Authority, explained that approximately 219 villages have been integrated into the MDA jurisdiction by the state government along all major arterial highways originating from Moradabad city, whether toward Kanth, Delhi Road, Rampur Road, or Sambhal Road. A comprehensive master plan is currently being drafted for these regions, and a detailed presentation regarding the same has already been submitted to the state government.
The newly incorporated 219 villages comprise areas across three distinct districts, namely Sambhal, Moradabad, and Amroha. Tailored development strategies will be implemented across these diverse sectors, with map approval made compulsory prior to raising any residential or commercial structures. This mandate has been instituted precisely to secure planned urban and regional growth. Authorities are presently refining the master plan to evaluate what additional facilities can be extended to these communities.
Specific Regions and Villages Brought Under MDA Limits
The boundary extension covers multiple villages under the Moradabad tehsil, including Serua Dharampur, Khadana, Didaura, Rasulpur Sunwati, Sonakpur Part which lies outside the municipal corporation limits, Bhadasna, Tahnayak, and Mundapande Chak Farzand, among others. Additionally, several villages under the Bilari tehsil have been incorporated, such as Lalpur Amir, Narustom Sarai, Nasabjipur, Nabirpur, Faridpur Amir, Mohammadpur Bastaur, Uchakani, Nanpur, and Malipur.
The expansion also encompasses designated villages in the Kanth region alongside areas in Amroha, which are expected to accelerate local development momentum. Furthermore, specific villages from the Sambhal district, namely Akrauli, Paintia Mafi, Malpur alias Malpura, and Itala Mafi, now fall under the administrative boundaries of the Moradabad Development Authority. The inclusion of these villages from Sambhal, Moradabad, and Amroha paves the way for accelerated infrastructure rollout across the tri-district region.
