With consumer demand for cooling appliances continuously rising, a dedicated skill-building program has been designed to provide hands-on training in air conditioner and refrigerator maintenance. Along with complete technical instruction at zero cost, successful participants will also receive institutional backing to secure banking credit and launch their own independent repair ventures.
30-Day Technical Workshop at Bank of Baroda RSETI
The specialized vocational session is scheduled to take place at the Bank of Baroda RSETI facility located near Pahari Gate in Rampur. Structured as a 30-day comprehensive course in air conditioner and refrigerator repair, the training is slated to commence on September 29. The program offers 30 designated seats for rural individuals aged between 18 and 50 years. Prospective candidates must submit their applications at the center by September 28 to secure admission.
Complimentary Meals, Uniforms, and Ministry Certification
RSETI Director Deshraj Meena confirmed that the entire training module is free of any tuition charges. During the training schedule, all trainees will receive complimentary morning tea, refreshments, lunch, uniforms, and practical training supplies. Upon completing the 30-day technical curriculum, candidates will be awarded formal certification issued directly by the Ministry of Rural Development, adding significant professional value to their credentials.
Up to 70 Percent Margin Money Subsidy and Business Credit
The program also integrates financial handholding to help graduates transition smoothly into entrepreneurship. LDM Rampur Satyendra Kumar Sharma explained that youths certified by RSETI are actively supported in obtaining bank loans to establish their own workshops. Depending on the feasibility of the candidate's business blueprint, commercial banks will sanction funding. Under applicable scheme norms, eligible candidates can secure government-backed margin money subsidies covering up to 70 percent of their total project cost.
