Meerut Mavericks lifted the UP T20 League 2026 trophy after crushing Lucknow Falcons by a massive 94 runs in the final. Captain Rinku Singh's side was propelled to a formidable total on the back of Divyansh Joshi's blistering century, a knock that ultimately proved too much for Lucknow to chase down.
Batting first, Meerut Mavericks posted 203 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 20 overs. Chasing such a big total, Lucknow Falcons' batting fell apart almost from the start, and the entire side was bowled out for just 106 runs in 16 overs. Ajeet Verma top-scored for Lucknow with 39 runs off 24 balls. Kritagya Kumar Singh chipped in with 21 runs, while Mohammad Saif added 10. Apart from these three, no other Lucknow batter managed to reach double figures. Vishal Chaudhary was the standout bowler for Meerut, returning superb figures of 4 wickets for just 24 runs in his 4 overs. It was this attacking knock alone that carried Meerut to 203, since the rest of the batting lineup struggled to make an impact. Captain Rinku Singh himself was dismissed for just 1 run. The next best score for Meerut came from Rituraj Sharma, who made 24 runs. Swastik Chikara contributed 18 runs, while Yash Garg remained unbeaten on 16 off 21 balls. Abhinandan Singh leads Lucknow's bowling effort
Trying to contain Meerut's innings, Abhinandan Singh was Lucknow Falcons' most successful bowler, taking 3 wickets for 40 runs in his 4 overs.
