A shocking incident has unfolded in Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, where an activist affiliated with the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul المسلمین or AIMIM was brutally murdered in a knife attack. The fatal assault took place on Sunday night when a gang of five individuals ambushed the victim near his residential premises and inflicted severe stab wounds. Although he was rushed to a hospital in an emergency response, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Following the incident, law enforcement authorities registered a formal case based on a formal complaint lodged by the deceased worker's son, and dedicated police teams have been mobilized to apprehend the culprits.
Fatal Ambush Near Home
According to preliminary findings shared by local police officers, the violent episode occurred on Sunday night within the Vattepally neighborhood. The victim, identified as approximately 50-year-old Mehboob Ali, was targeted by a group of five assailants who launched a sudden assault with lethal weapons. Initial investigation reports indicate that these attackers were allegedly hired by a relative of the victim himself. Due to the deep knife wounds, Mehboob Ali suffered extensive blood loss before being transported to a medical facility, where doctors pronounced him dead during ongoing treatment procedures.
Case Registered at Falaknuma Police Station
Police officials stated that comprehensive investigations are currently underway to uncover the exact motives behind the murder. Multiple special police teams have been constituted to track down and capture the suspects who fled from the crime scene immediately after the assault. Authorities confirmed that an official murder case has been registered at the Falaknuma police station following the complaint submitted by the victim's son, and follow-up legal procedures are progressing actively.
MLA Visits Bereaved Family
In the wake of the tragedy, local AIMIM MLA Mohammed Mubeen visited the residence of Mehboob Ali to meet his grieving family members and express profound condolences. Sharing his grief over the incident, MLA Mohammed Mubeen posted a statement on the X platform, noting that he was deeply shocked and saddened by the brutal killing of AIMIM worker late Mehboob Ali saheb, who was targeted by unidentified attackers wielding lethal weapons in Vattepally.
Demand for Strict Action Against Perpetrators
Subsequently, the legislator visited the Falaknuma police station and urged senior officers to take prompt, stringent action against all individuals responsible for the heinous crime to ensure that the perpetrators face justice. MLA Mohammed Mubeen stated that they appeal to the Telangana government and Hyderabad police to enhance patrolling, crack down on anti-social elements, and take strict measures against the growing menace of drugs and violent crimes to guarantee the safety of every citizen.
