A chilling and gruesome murder case has come to light in Kurukshetra, near Raj Palace on Pehowa Road, where a woman allegedly murdered her husband with extreme brutality. The true horror of the crime unfolded during the post-mortem examination of the deceased, 40-year-old Rajesh. Investigators and medical professionals were left in absolute shock when they discovered the sheer extent of the violence inflicted upon him. The accused wife had launched such a violent and frenzied knife attack that Rajesh's abdomen was ripped open by approximately 35 centimeters. The wounds were so deep and severe that his intestines had spilled out of his body.
During the autopsy, shocking findings revealed that roughly half of the victim's liver and his right kidney were missing. As the landlord rushed to the upper-floor room after hearing screams, he witnessed the accused woman stuffing the spilled intestines into a bag. Startled by the landlord's sudden presence, the woman panicked and leaped off the roof of the house. She sustained injuries from the fall and was subsequently admitted to a hospital for medical treatment, where police are waiting to record her statement.
Gruesome Details Emerge from the Autopsy and Crime Scene
The deceased was identified as Rajesh, a native of Dhampur village in Sitapur district, Uttar Pradesh. He had been living in Kurukshetra with his wife, Vimala Devi, for about a year and worked as a water supplier at the PB RO Water Trading Company located on Pehowa Road. According to the landlord, Rinku, Rajesh had rented a room on the upper floor of the building about a year ago. At around 5 PM, Rinku heard shouting and screaming coming from Rajesh and Vimala's room. Prompted by the noise, he rushed to the rooftop, only to be horrified by the scene awaiting him. Rajesh was lying on the floor, covered in blood, with his stomach mutilated.
Rinku stated that as he approached the room, he saw Vimala gathering the protruding intestines from Rajesh's abdomen and placing them into a bag. Spotting the landlord standing right there, the woman panicked and jumped from the roof down to the ground. Following the incident, Third Gate police post in-charge Satish Gaur and KUK police post in-charge Surender Singh arrived at the location with a police team. Investigators inspected the crime scene, gathered vital forensic evidence, and recovered three knives of varying sizes from the spot as the investigation got underway.
Years of Marriage and Unresolved Motives Behind the Crime
According to the landlord, Vimala also practiced occult healing or exorcism rituals, and the couple frequently quarreled with each other. However, the exact motive behind the murder remains unclear at this stage. The woman is currently hospitalized, and law enforcement officials are attempting to record her formal statement. Reports indicate that Rajesh and Vimala had been married for several years, but the couple did not have any children. Police are now probing their interpersonal relationship, past disputes, and the immediate circumstances leading up to the homicide. Authorities have stated that the ongoing investigation relies heavily on the final autopsy report and the eventual statements given by the accused woman.
