Standing before the judge, she recounted the events of a December 2020 trip to Chennai, explaining how she first came into contact with the accused through his associate.
The Chennai Event and Meeting Leena Paulose
According to her court statements, she traveled to Chennai by flight in December 2020 accompanied by her entire team to attend a scheduled event. The end-to-end management of the function was handled by staff members of Exceed Entertainment. While she was getting ready for the program, her team informed her that Sukesh Chandrashekhar's wife, Leena Paulose, wished to meet her and her family. Shortly after, Leena Paulose entered her dressing room accompanied by two videographers and a few other individuals, carrying several gifts with her.
Phone Conversation Initiated by Leena Paulose
During the interaction, Leena introduced herself as the owner of a nail artistry salon. As the conversation progressed, Leena mentioned that her spouse wanted to say hello and express gratitude for traveling to Chennai. Following this, Leena dialed her husband on her mobile phone and placed the call on speaker mode so they could converse. The person on the line stated that he and his family were huge fans, thanked her for attending the function, and expressed a desire to collaborate on future events.
Car Gift Offer and Envelopes Distributed at the Venue
In the middle of this phone conversation, Leena brought up the topic of presenting a car as a gift. The caller on the line also urged her to accept the vehicle as a present. Once the phone call ended, she proceeded to the venue with her team, where she participated as the chief guest and judged a dance competition. Additionally, she informed the court that during the event, she was handed certain envelopes with instructions to pass them on to the parents of disabled children.
