The festival of lights is being celebrated with great joy, faith, and enthusiasm across the country. In line with this nationwide fervour, a unique and vibrant atmosphere of Diwali was witnessed in the Dausa district. Since early morning, the ritual of lighting lamps began across major temples and residential areas. Women and young girls performed traditional rituals by lighting earthen lamps to pray for peace, happiness, and prosperity, while courtyards adorned eye-catching rangolis and traditional auspicious floor art.
Special religious events were organized at the renowned Nilkanth Mahadev Temple in Dausa on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. A massive crowd of devotees gathered on the temple premises from early morning for prayers and to offer lamps. People lit lamps collectively within the temple courtyard to celebrate the festival. A particularly stunning and elaborate rangoli was also created inside the complex, emerging as a major center of attraction for everyone present.
Devotional Melodies and Dazzling Fireworks Illuminate the Temple
The atmosphere turned deeply spiritual during the special bhajan and satsang sessions organized within the Nilkanth Mahadev Temple premises. Artists and devotees were seen swaying in joy to the tunes of devotional songs and hymns dedicated to Lord Shiva. As evening descended, a grand display of fireworks lit up the sky and the entire temple courtyard with multi-colored lights. People exchanged earthen lamps and greeted each other to share the happiness of the festival.
Not just the temples, but the entire Dausa town was immersed in the festive celebrations. Prominent temples, commercial establishments, and public squares across the city were illuminated with attractive lighting arrangements by the municipal administration and local residents. Markets witnessed a continuous buzz of shoppers throughout the day, followed by traditional worship of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha during the auspicious evening muhurat.
