The Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) in Rajasthan has dealt a significant blow to organized crime by unearthing an arsenal of sophisticated foreign weaponry linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi and Arzoo Bishnoi syndicate. Acting on intelligence obtained during interrogation, investigators recovered lethal firearms that had been concealed underground between Pali and Sirohi. The seized cache consists of two 9 mm bore handguns, 4 magazines, and 36 live cartridges. Notably, one of the recovered weapons is a Turkish-made FX-9 pistol, while the other is an Austrian-manufactured Glock handgun.
Arrest of Key Shooters in Jodhpur
This coordinated recovery stems directly from the earlier apprehension of two suspected sharp shooters in Jodhpur. The operatives were identified as Rajinder alias Billa and Jaskaran Singh alias Karan alias Sunny alias Katta. According to police records, both individuals had arrived in Jodhpur with the explicit intent of executing a major criminal offense. Their interception in Jodhpur prevented the planned operation, and sustained questioning subsequently led investigators to details regarding their hidden weapons cache.
Weapons Concealed Underground to Evade Detection
Following specific disclosures made by the arrested shooters, an AGTF team was dispatched to the designated location along the stretch between Pali and Sirohi. The suspects had buried the contraband underground with considerable care, ensuring that ordinary passersby could not notice anything unusual on the surface. Investigators dug up the exact spot pointed out by the shooters and retrieved the two 9 mm bore pistols, along with the 4 magazines and 36 rounds of live ammunition. The presence of advanced firearms such as the FX-9 and Glock highlights the high-caliber weaponry accessed by the gang network.
Tracing the Supply Route and Intended Targets
The entire operation against illegal arms networks and active criminal syndicates in the state is progressing under the direct supervision of ADG AGTF Dinesh M.N. Specialized teams continue to track associates, local facilitators, and operational logistics linked to the gang. Current investigative efforts are focused on establishing the illicit supply routes through which these Austrian and Turkish weapons entered the region, as well as identifying the precise target that Rajinder and Jaskaran had planned to hit in Jodhpur before their apprehension.
