Police in Rajasthan's Rajsamand district have launched a major law enforcement drive aimed at curbing criminal activities and maintaining public order. Under the direct supervision of Superintendent of Police Hemant Kalal, local authorities executed swift operations across two separate cases, leading to the arrest of four individuals. The successful actions by the Rajnagar and Kankroli police stations have delivered a strong setback to local criminals while reinforcing public trust in law enforcement.
Imposter Posing as Income Tax Officer Arrested in Rajnagar
The first operation was carried out by the Rajnagar police station, which apprehended a fraudster who masqueraded as a high-ranking official from the Income Tax Department. The suspect used his fabricated authority to intimidate and deceive individuals. His primary target was a local hotel owner in Rajnagar, whom he approached under the pretext of negotiating a purchase deal for the hotel. Leveraging his fake designation, the imposter duped the owner into handing over a substantial amount of cash along with a valuable gold chain.
Upon realizing that he had been cheated, the hotel owner promptly lodged an official complaint at the Rajnagar police station. Police immediately launched an investigation, utilizing technical surveillance and leveraging an extensive informant network. Based on precise technical evidence and intelligence inputs, officers located and arrested the accused. During preliminary questioning, investigators indicated that further interrogation could uncover his involvement in other financial fraud cases across the region.
Kankroli Police Nab Three Daylight Burglars
The second major breakthrough was achieved by the Kankroli police station following a bold daytime burglary that had created widespread apprehension among residents in the area. Taking serious note of the incident, SP Hemant Kalal directed the formation of specialized police teams to identify and capture the culprits responsible for the crime.
Investigators scrutinized extensive CCTV footage collected from the crime scene and adjacent localities. Through detailed technical analysis and continuous field tracking, the police successfully identified and arrested three seasoned thieves involved in the break-in. Initial investigations revealed their modus operandi: the trio conducted reconnaissance of isolated residential properties and vacant houses during daylight hours before executing burglaries when the occupants were absent. Police are currently working to recover the stolen valuables and cash from their possession.
Strict Law Enforcement and Ongoing Interrogations
Under the guidance of SP Hemant Kalal, police teams from both Rajnagar and Kankroli are conducting detailed interrogations of all four detained suspects. Rajnagar police are examining whether the fake Income Tax officer operated independently or as part of a broader fraud network. Meanwhile, Kankroli police are investigating the prior criminal records of the three burglars while attempting to trace the exact locations where the stolen property was hidden. The stern stance taken by the Rajsamand police demonstrates zero tolerance toward crime in the district.
