A shocking case of sexual abuse involving a three-year-old nursery student has come to light at a prominent school located in Delhi's Bawana locality. The harrowing incident has once again raised serious concerns regarding the safety and security of young children within educational institutions. According to available details, a school bus driver named Vikas allegedly lured the innocent victim with chocolates and subjected her to repeated sexual assault. The ghastly sequence of events came to light on the night of August 19, when the victim's family members noticed injury marks on her private parts and decided to question her.
Child points out bad uncle after mother's questioning
When the victim's mother gently questioned her about the marks, the terrified child spoke about a bad uncle at school who used to give her chocolates. Although the young girl was unable to state the name of the perpetrator initially, the family promptly reported the matter to the school administration. On August 24, photographs and CCTV footage from the school premises were shown to the child, upon which she successfully identified the accused driver Vikas as the person responsible for the abuse. Following this crucial identification, local law enforcement was informed immediately.
Police arrest and recovery of suspicious mobile footage
An FIR was registered under the stringent provisions of the POCSO Act, and police teams arrested the accused Vikas directly from the school campus. Initial investigations revealed that the accused had been working as a school bus driver for roughly eight months. Review of the closed-circuit television footage showed the accused roaming around the premises with pockets full of chocolates. During further technical checks, authorities seized the mobile phone of the accused, which reportedly contained multiple videos showing him feeding chocolates to various young children. The identity of the children appearing in those video clips is currently being verified, and counseling sessions are being arranged for them. Police have also secured all relevant digital evidence and campus camera recordings.
Separate gang-rape incident inside empty sleeper bus in Kashmiri Gate
In a separate and equally disturbing incident reported from Delhi's Kashmiri Gate area, a high school student faced brutal assault. A female student studying in the 11th grade was subjected to gang-rape inside an empty sleeper bus. Law enforcement authorities have arrested both the bus driver and the conductor involved in this heinous crime. Such recurring incidents have left parents across the national capital deeply alarmed about public transport and institutional safety.
