How the ordeal came to light
The disturbing episode unraveled when the 3-year-old child complained of severe pain in his ears to his parents. Alarmed by the grievance, the parents rushed the young boy to a doctor, who examined him and revealed that both of his eardrums were swollen due to physical assault.
