The city of Udaipur is once again witnessing a dangerous resurgence of gang war dynamics as rival factions clash in broad daylight. A violent confrontation erupted in the early hours of Sunday within the Savina police station jurisdiction, fueled by a longstanding feud between notorious history-sheeters. What began as a celebration quickly deteriorated into bloodshed, marked by brutal sword attacks and active gunfire that left local residents terrorized and law enforcement agencies scrambling to restore order.
The Clash at a Birthday Celebration
According to available details, history-sheeter Ardin alias Lala was attending a birthday party for his associate Deepak Patel at a hotel located in Balicha on Saturday night. At around 2:30 AM on Sunday, a group of five to seven miscreants affiliated with the Muzaffar alias Goga gang, including Usman Ghani and Mohsin Kada, arrived at the venue. Driven by an ongoing rivalry, the attackers suddenly assaulted Ardin with swords. In response, Ardin's associates retaliated by pelting stones, forcing the attackers to flee the scene. During this chaotic exchange, shots were fired at Ardin's brother Fardin, who sustained two bullet wounds and collapsed. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors successfully extracted the bullets, confirming that his condition was out of danger.
Retaliatory Attack on Opposing Faction's Property
The violence did not stop there, as news of Fardin getting shot infuriated the opposing faction. Enraged by the shooting, supporters of Ardin launched a retaliatory attack on the home of Irshad, who is the maternal uncle of Usman in the Savina area. The group indulged in heavy vandalism and physical assault, causing panic throughout the neighborhood. Upon receiving information about the escalating violence, the Savina police station acted swiftly, registering cross-cases against both parties and initiating a comprehensive investigation into the sequence of events.
Criminal Records of the Arrested Individuals
Police authorities have taken five key accused individuals into custody, including main accused Muzaffar alias Goga, Ardin alias Lala, Pradip alias Bapu, Prem Singh, and Yash Kharadi. Investigators even conducted a crime scene recreation with the arrested suspects to piece together the events. Police records reveal that a bitter supremacy battle has been raging between Muzaffar and the brothers Fardin and Ardin for a long time, with multiple criminal cases already pending against both sides. Records show that Muzaffar faces around 40 serious criminal charges, including murder, attempted murder, Arms Act violations, and robbery. Similarly, Fardin has 22 cases against him, while Ardin is also named in several heinous crime files. Notably, Muzaffar was apprehended with weapons back in 2024, highlighting their persistent history of violent confrontations.

Last year, when Ardin visited Fardin, who was confined in the Ajmer High Security Jail, he was allegedly assigned the task of eliminating Muzaffar. According to police inputs, Ardin had even arranged for weapons at the time, but police intercepted him before the plan could be executed, further intensifying the hostility between the two camps. Currently, the Savina police are aggressively investigating all angles to uncover the mastermind behind the latest shooting and to identify any other accomplices who might still be at large, while heavy police deployment remains in the area to maintain peace.
