Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis presided over the event alongside several prominent figures from the entertainment industry and digital space. Among the honored guests was standup comedian Samay Raina, who accepted recognition from the Chief Minister while keeping the audience entertained with his trademark humor.

During the event, Maharashtra Cyber Cell introduced multiple initiatives aimed at educating citizens on safeguarding themselves against digital fraud and cyber threats. He noted that safety messages delivered by popular actors, singers, and artists carry a stronger resonance with the general public. A diverse group of celebrities participated in the campaign to amplify its message, including actors Ashish Vidyarthi, Pankaj Tripathi, Sharad Kelkar, Sonali Bendre, Jaaved Jaaferi, and Mangesh Desai, alongside playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan and comedian Samay Raina. Following the event, Samay Raina posted a video clip of the ceremony on his Instagram page, extending his gratitude to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Speaking at the function, Raina humorously remarked that Maharashtra Cyber Cell's contact number was already saved on his mobile phone because he frequently receives calls from them. His witty confession triggered laughter across the auditorium, including from the Chief Minister himself.
Raina added that he has had a long-standing association with Maha Cyber and praised helpline 1930 as a vital tool for citizens facing digital crimes.

Continuing in his characteristic comedic style, Samay Raina lauded the efficiency and reach of the Maharashtra Cyber Cell. He stated with conviction that regardless of whether someone is located within India or overseas, the cyber cell personnel possess the capability to track them down.
He drew further chuckles by mentioning that this was the very first instance where a cyber cell officer visited a comedian's home in the morning to pick him up, only for the visit to culminate in an official honor rather than an interrogation.
