The heartfelt message shared by the artist left his fans and followers teary-eyed as they joined in offering condolences to his departed father.
Sharing a series of photographs of his father on Instagram, the actor expressed that nine years have slipped away without realization, yet it still feels unbelievable that he is no longer around. He noted that his father left much too soon and deserved to witness much more in life. He added that enduring every joyous or difficult moment without his presence remains an immense challenge for the family.
The Crowding Memories and the Lost Hand
Reflecting further, he mentioned the phone call that everyone dreads receiving, recalling July 2017 when a single call brought a silence and wailing on the other end that relegated everything to the past before one could even comprehend it. He described the absence of a father as being akin to a child losing grip of a hand in a crowded fair. He observed that while the crowd of memories grows larger with every passing year, the guiding hand slips further away.
Growing Stronger While Crying Within
He shared that while time has made his own hands stronger and his fingers have learned to weave words together, the child inside him weeps loudly so that his cry might pierce through the fair and reach his father. Mentioning his young daughter, he noted that she has started speaking words like mother, father, and baba, and runs to him upon hearing the temple bell during his morning prayers. He added that when she begins her formal education, he will personally write her first letter, and no one else will guide her initial steps.

Emphasizing his father's academic legacy, he recalled that his father was an eminent scholar of English and a learned pundit of Sanskrit. He expressed a wish that his father could have taught his granddaughter her first letters.
