The long wait for lakhs of candidates who appeared for the UGC NET June 2026 examination to qualify for Assistant Professor posts and secure Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in universities across India is about to end. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is in the final stages of preparing to release the results and official scorecards for 84 subjects very soon. Candidates who took part in this national-level competitive exam will be able to access and download their performance cards through the official web portal once the link is activated. By streamlining the evaluation process, NTA aims to deliver scorecards for 84 subjects in one single go.
Results for 84 Subjects First, Re-Exam for 3 Subjects Ongoing
A total of 87 subjects were included in the UGC NET June 2026 examination conducted by NTA. Owing to administrative requirements and technical factors, the agency opted to conduct a re-examination for 3 specific subjects. The official results for these 3 withheld subjects will be declared only after their re-exam is successfully completed. Meanwhile, the evaluation process for the remaining 84 subjects is nearly finished. NTA's primary objective is to avoid unnecessary delays for students of the 84 completed subjects, allowing them to proceed with their academic career plans without waiting for the re-exam cycle to conclude.
