In view of the upcoming Brijmandal Jalabhishek Yatra scheduled for August 3 in Haryana's Nuh district, the local administration has initiated proactive security measures, including a complete shutdown of educational institutions. As per the official directive issued by the District Education Officer, all government, government-aided, and private schools across Nuh district will remain closed on August 3. Officials highlighted that this decision aims to ensure the utmost safety of students and maintain orderly traffic movement, considering the massive turnout of devotees expected along the procession route.
Over 800 Security Personnel and 7 Paramilitary Companies Deployed
The Nuh district administration and police force have been placed on high alert to ensure that the religious procession passes off peacefully. Nuh SP Arpit Jain stated that comprehensive security arrangements have been implemented across the region, combining state police personnel with central security units. A total of seven companies of paramilitary forces are being deployed alongside Haryana Police forces. Additionally, more than 800 personnel and specialized security companies have been posted at strategic locations to handle security duty throughout the event.
80 km Route Details and Schedule of Temple Visits
According to the route plan outlined by the DC, the procession is slated to commence around noon from the Nalhar Shiv Temple, also known as the Nalhareshwar Mahadev Temple. From Nalhar, the procession will move through Badkali Chowk towards Ferozepur Jhirka to reach the Jhirkeshwar Mahadev Temple. Following ritual prayers there, the yatra will head back via Badkali Chowk, pass through Singar village, and culminate at the Shringeshwar Mahadev Temple located in Punhana. Security cover has been extended over the entire 80-kilometer stretch connecting these revered shrines.
24/7 Surveillance via Drones and Over 100 Videographers
To maintain seamless surveillance over the 80-kilometer route, authorities are leveraging advanced monitoring technologies. Drone teams and high-definition video cameras have been mobilized for round-the-clock aerial and ground inspection. SP Arpit Jain informed that over 100 police personnel alongside private videographers have been stationed along the path to document every movement. Control room monitoring will ensure real-time oversight of the procession from start to finish.
Social Media Monitoring and Administration's Appeal
Alongside physical security, Nuh police are exercising strict vigil over online platforms to curb false rumors and inflammatory content. Cyber monitoring teams are tracking posts continuously. Warning against online mischief, SP Arpit Jain noted, "Social media is also being strictly monitored. Action is being taken according to rules against those spreading misleading or provocative content." Several suspicious accounts have already been suspended or blocked, and formal letters have been dispatched to police heads of neighboring districts for prompt follow-up. Meanwhile, the district administration has urged parents and school managers to strictly adhere to the closure order and prioritize child safety.
