To streamline the search for the nearest vaccination centre, the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has implemented both a QR code system and a dedicated online portal for residents.
How to Locate a Vaccination Booth
Citizens residing in the state capital can identify a centre near their residence by following these simple steps:
- Access the official GBA website via the designated portal.
- Select your relevant corporation from the provided options: Central, East, North, South, or West.
- Choose your specific Zone and Ward from the dropdown menus.
- Continue through the selection process.
- Utilise the 'Find nearby' feature, which allows the system to access your location and pinpoint the nearest polio centre in your immediate vicinity.
- On the digital map, purple dots indicate Namma Clinic, yellow dots represent polio booths, and red dots signify GBA UPHC centres.
Digital Support Tools
To further assist the immunisation drive, authorities have launched a mobile application called Nearby Vaccination. This tool is designed to support caregivers and parents who live far from their registered health centres or those who commute across the city for work, making it significantly easier to identify the closest active vaccination point.

Karnataka has geared up to vaccinate approximately 64.84 lakh children across the state. The massive exercise involves a network of 36,076 vaccination booths, ensuring comprehensive coverage. The programme, which began on Sunday, June 28, was launched at D K Shivakumar's Sadashivanagar residence in the presence of Health Minister U T Khader.
