Devotees visiting the renowned spiritual site of Veer Tejaji Maharaj Kalwar Salasar Bagichi in Kalwar, near Jaipur, now have access to a comfortable, permanent resting facility following a major private initiative. For years, pilgrims traveling long distances had struggled to find an appropriate shaded spot to sit, rest, and refresh themselves during their visits. Recognizing the persistent hardship faced by visitors, local social worker Narendra Meena, also known as Chhotu Meena, undertook the entire responsibility on his own, funding and delivering a comprehensive dharamshala project valued in lakhs of rupees within a single year.
Pledge Fulfilled Without Delay or Public Funds
The religious site regularly witnesses heavy footfall from both nearby villages and remote districts. Despite the large congregation of worshippers, the absence of any sheltered, permanent rest house created substantial difficulties, especially during adverse weather conditions. Devotees had formally approached Narendra Meena approximately one year ago to apprise him of this acute shortfall. Rather than deferring the matter or waiting for collective public fundraising, Meena immediately committed to building the facility and began construction using his own private finances. The work progressed steadily without interruption, culminating in a fully completed rest complex in about twelve months.
Multi-Purpose Venue for Pilgrims and Community Gatherings
The newly constructed building has been planned to cater to wider civic needs alongside pilgrim welfare. In addition to offering visitors a clean and reliable space to sit and recuperate after long journeys, the spacious structure will host social, cultural, and spiritual events for the surrounding community. Local residents observed that the absence of a permanent community hall had long hindered the smooth organization of collective religious ceremonies and gatherings. With this permanent facility in place, rural families and traveling groups will no longer have to worry about accommodation arrangements while visiting Kalwar Salasar Bagichi.
Dedicated to Parents in Tribute to Values and Upbringing
Upon the completion of the project, Narendra Meena officially dedicated the dharamshala to his parents. Reflecting on his motivation, he stated that whatever achievements, stability, and societal position he has attained today are direct fruits of the moral values, guidance, and wisdom imparted by his mother and father. Considering his parents as his foremost teachers and guides, he dedicated the entire community asset to them as a token of gratitude and filial respect. This marks the very first permanent dharamshala ever built at this religious site.

Community members remarked that individuals willing to spend substantial personal wealth without commercial interest to resolve everyday public issues are rare. They commended his proactive responsiveness, noting that delivering a completed community asset in just one year sets an inspiring standard for grassroots social work and philanthropy across the Kalwar region.
