A road accident occurred in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh on the day of Raksha Bandhan when a public transport bus crashed into a hill in the Manali region. The bus, operated by the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC), lost control while navigating the route, resulting in injuries to several passengers onboard.
Vehicle Collides with Hillside Near Bajohan
The incident took place along the Bhekli-Byasar road when the HRTC vehicle was en route to its destination. Upon reaching the vicinity of Bajohan, the bus drifted out of control and slammed into an adjoining hillside along the road. The force of the impact caused chaos inside the vehicle and left passengers injured.
Emergency Dispatch and Investigation Status
Following the crash, emergency relief operations were promptly initiated to assist those affected. Ambulances were dispatched to the site near Bajohan to transport injured passengers for medical treatment. Authorities have not yet determined the exact factor that led the bus to lose control.
