A shocking murder case has come to light in the Jubbal area of Shimla district in Himachal Pradesh. A young man of Nepalese origin was killed, and his blood-stained body was found lying near the roadside. The victim bore severe injury marks around his head, face, and neck, with a significant amount of blood spilled at the spot. Upon receiving information, the police rushed to the scene, inspected the location, took custody of the body, and launched a thorough investigation into the matter.
Identity of the Deceased Established
According to available details, the deceased has been identified as Hirendra, who had been living in Jubbal for several years. Following the discovery, the police registered a formal murder case under Section 103(1) of the BNS and initiated further legal procedures.
Passersby Spotted the Body on Highway
According to Shimla police, Sahil Bhimta, a resident of Mandol village, had visited the Hatkoti temple on the occasion of Navratra along with his three companions, Saksham, Akhil, and Harsha. After offering prayers at the temple, the four had dinner in the evening and were heading back toward their village Mandol in Saksham's car. Shortly before reaching Dochi on the highway, they spotted a person lying face down on the roadside. Upon stopping the car and inspecting, they found the individual unconscious with severe injuries around his head, mouth, and neck, and bleeding profusely.
Ambulance Summoned but Victim Had Died
Sahil and Harsha immediately informed the police about the incident and also called an ambulance to the spot. When the medical staff arrived and examined the individual, it was determined that he had already passed away. The police have registered a case of murder, though who committed the crime and under what circumstances remains unclear so far. Investigation into the case is actively underway, and police also found blood trails near the crime scene leading along an unpaved path toward a drainage channel.
