Initial inquiries suggest that the bird likely flew into Indian territory from across the Pakistani border. Nevertheless, verification is still underway to determine definitively whether the pigeon originated directly from Pakistan and who fitted the tagged band to its leg. Security teams are pursuing multiple angles, focusing primarily on tracing the ownership and telecom records connected to the partial mobile digits. The objective is to uncover who owns or operates that number and why it was attached to a pigeon entering a sensitive border belt.
Heightened Border Surveillance and Recent Drone Incursions
