Required Ingredients

To prepare this traditional recipe, you do not need an extensive list of grocery items. Roasting and Blending Process

To begin the process, pure ghee is added to a pan and heated thoroughly. Following this, four cups of coconut powder are introduced into the pan and roasted lightly over a low flame for about two to three minutes while stirring continuously. During this step, it is important to ensure that the natural color of the coconut does not change significantly. Afterwards, milk is poured in and blended thoroughly with the coconut powder, keeping the mixture in constant motion so it does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Once the milk and coconut blend seamlessly, one cup of sugar is added and mixed well by stirring continuously until it thickens.

Final Shaping Stage

When the entire mixture cooks completely and attains a thick consistency, the stove is turned off and the contents are allowed to cool down slightly. Once the mixture reaches a manageable temperature for handling, a little ghee is applied to the palms, and small round laddus are shaped. Finally, these freshly formed laddus are rolled thoroughly in dry coconut flakes, which enhances both their visual appeal and their rich coconut flavor. You can now proudly serve these delicious coconut laddus to your family members and friends during the celebrations.
