Central government employee Medha Akarsh, who worked with the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), lost her life in a tragic road accident while commuting to work in Bengaluru. The fatal accident occurred approximately 3 kilometres from her residence when she lost balance and fell off her two-wheeler due to the dilapidated state of the road. Local commuters stated that the stretch suffered from severe waterlogging and deep potholes, making daily transit extremely hazardous.
