Baking Soda And White Vinegar Solution
A combination of baking soda and white vinegar serves as an excellent remedy to eliminate any kind of stubborn dye from white clothes. To begin, take a bucket or tub filled with lukewarm water. Mix half a cup of white vinegar and three to four spoons of baking soda thoroughly into the water. Now submerge the stained white garment completely inside this mixture and leave it soaked for roughly one to two hours. Afterwards, rub the fabric gently and wash it using regular laundry detergent. Vinegar and baking soda act like natural bleach and effectively break down the unwanted color.
Lemon And Salt Magic
Lemon contains citric acid, which is considered an exceptional cleanser and a natural bleaching agent. Squeeze fresh lemon juice directly onto the specific area of the garment where the color has bled, and sprinkle a little salt over it. Let it sit undisturbed for twenty to thirty minutes. Following this, use an old toothbrush to scrub the stained spot gently and rinse thoroughly with clean water. This particular trick works wonders for white cotton garments.
Using Aspirin Tablets
This is a unique yet remarkably potent trick. Crush five to six aspirin tablets and dissolve them into a bucket of lukewarm water to prepare a cleaning solution. Soak your white garment in this liquid for at least four hours or even overnight. The next morning, take the fabric out and wash it normally with detergent. The salicylic acid present in aspirin easily clears away stubborn dye traces from fabrics.
Oxygen Bleach Alternative
If the transferred color is extremely stubborn and refuses to leave through common household methods, you can opt for oxygen bleach. It is much safer for fabric fibers compared to ordinary chlorine bleach and does not weaken the material. Mix the bleach properly in water and soak the garment for an hour before washing.
