Instead of relying on expensive and harsh chemical products from the marketplace, you can create an effective and budget-friendly cleaning powder using simple household items. This mixture helps easily wipe away stubborn blackening and accumulated grime. You will need a small ten-rupee pouch of washing detergent powder, two to four tablespoons of citric acid depending on the severity of the tarnishing, and one and a half to two spoons of baking soda.
Method of Preparation and Application
To prepare this cleaning powder, combine wheat flour, salt, detergent powder, citric acid, and baking soda in a mixer grinder and grind them together in dry form. Store this mixture securely inside a clean and airtight jar for future use. Whenever you need to clean copper and steel vessels, take out an adequate amount of this powder in a bowl based on the number of dirty utensils, and mix a very small amount of water to form a smooth paste.
