Punjab has announced the result of its popular Dear 200 Monthly bumper lottery on July 4, 2026. Unlike the state's regular draws, this monthly lottery carries a first prize worth a full Rs 1.5 crore. The lucky draw got underway at 6:00 pm from the Camp Office in Ludhiana, and every ticket for this lottery was sold at Rs 200.

What Each Prize Is Worth

Sitting at the top of the list is the Rs 1.5 crore first prize, followed by a second prize of Rs 10 lakh and a third prize of Rs 5 lakh. The remaining prizes break down as follows:

  • 1st Prize: Rs 1.5 crore
  • 2nd Prize: Rs 10 lakh
  • 3rd Prize: Rs 5 lakh
  • 4th Prize: Rs 9,000
  • 5th Prize: Rs 8,000
  • 6th Prize: Rs 6,000
  • 7th Prize: Rs 4,000
  • 8th Prize: Rs 2,000
  • 9th Prize: Rs 300

The Full Prize Structure

The first prize winner will take home Rs 1.5 crore, while the second and third place winners will receive Rs 10 lakh and Rs 5 lakh respectively. On top of that, around 50 lucky winners will each get Rs 9,000 as the fourth prize, and the fifth prize of Rs 8,000 will go to roughly 100 winners.

As the sixth prize, 250 people will each pocket Rs 6,000, and another 250 winners will get Rs 4,000 each as the seventh prize. Similarly, the eighth prize of Rs 2,000 will be shared among 250 winners. Finally, the ninth and last prize of Rs 300 each will be handed to about 25,000 winners.

How To Claim Your Winnings

If your winning amount is below Rs 10,000, you can collect it from any designated retailer or lottery shop in Punjab. However, if the amount falls between Rs 10,000 and Rs 1 lakh, you will need to submit the winning ticket at the Punjab State Lottery Office. For prizes above Rs 1 lakh, the ticket has to be handed in at the Directorate of Lotteries (Punjab Govt.).

Keep in mind that tickets must be submitted within 30 to 90 days of the win. Along with the ticket, a few documents are required, and they are:

  • The original winning ticket (signed on the reverse).
  • A photocopy of your Aadhaar card or another government ID.
  • Passport-size photographs.
  • A filled-in application form (from the Punjab Lottery office or website).
  • Bank account details (a copy of your passbook or a cancelled cheque).

It is worth repeating that the claim window is 30 to 90 days as per the rules of the scheme. Waiting too long can render your prize invalid, so claiming it on time is the smart move.

What this means for you

  • Across India: If you bought a Dear 200 Monthly ticket, match your number against the winners list and claim within the deadline, or your prize money could be forfeited.
  • In Punjab: Winners of amounts below Rs 10,000 can collect from any authorised lottery shop, while bigger prizes must be claimed at the Lottery Office or Directorate.
