An unusual sight has become the talk of Madhya Pradesh's Dindori district. In the villages of Bhainswahi, Sarai Tola and Umaria Gawari Tola, a large vulture suddenly appeared with a plastic tag bearing a unique number on its leg and a modern electronic device strapped to its back. The bird's unusual condition left villagers curious and triggered all kinds of speculation.
When people in the village first spotted the vulture, the device on its body immediately caught everyone's attention. Many villagers could not understand why such an instrument had been fitted on a bird. As word spread, the news reached nearby villages too, and large numbers of people began gathering to see the rare bird.
Is It Part of a Research Mission?
The residents of these three villages, which fall under the Amarpur Janpad Panchayat area, were taken aback at the sight of the vulture. The biggest reason for their astonishment was the specially numbered tag on the bird's leg and the GPS tracking device tied to its body. The unusual scene raised several questions in their minds. Some villagers guessed it could be part of a special monitoring or research mission. It is believed that the tag and device could help gather detailed information about the bird.
Forest Department Team Reaches the Spot
Sensing the seriousness of the matter, villagers immediately informed the local forest department. As soon as the news came in, a forest department team arrived at the spot and assessed the situation. Officials closely examined the vulture and inspected the tag and GPS device fitted on its body.
