A harrowing incident highlighting the sheer unpredictability of life has emerged from the Guna district of Madhya Pradesh, where a healthy individual lost his life within a span of just two seconds. Lokendra Shrimal, a prominent advocate based in the city, suffered a sudden and fatal cardiac arrest. He was in the process of parking his scooter right outside his residence when he unexpectedly collapsed to the ground and passed away. This entire heartbreaking sequence of events was captured by a nearby CCTV camera, leaving everyone who watches the footage in absolute disbelief.
The final two seconds caught on camera
The surveillance footage shows Lokendra Shrimal stepping out to park his scooter near his home when a sudden silent cardiac arrest struck him, giving him virtually no time to react or steady himself. The moment he finished parking the vehicle, he slumped over and collapsed unconscious. Within barely two seconds, his breathing stopped completely. By the time neighbors and family members rushed to the spot to offer help, it was already too late to save him.
Family fulfills noble organ donation pledge
The sudden and untimely demise of the senior advocate sent deep shockwaves through the district court premises, the local legal fraternity, and the entire city. Despite facing this crushing blow and immense grief, the Shrimal family set an exemplary standard. Lokendra Shrimal had pledged to donate his eyes during his lifetime. Demonstrating remarkable composure during this difficult time, the family ensured the eye donation procedure was successfully completed, which will help bring light into the lives of two visually impaired individuals. The family remains enveloped in deep sorrow following the tragedy.
Rising cases of sudden cardiac events
Incidents involving sudden heart attacks have been seeing a worrying upward trend recently. A comparable incident was reported not long ago from the Sangrur district in Punjab, where a shopkeeper died of a sudden heart attack after being deeply distressed by a theft at his shop. That incident was also documented on CCTV, showing the businessman falling from a staircase where he was sitting before passing away.
