A shocking double murder in the Bichhia police station area of Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, has left the entire community in profound shock. Around 1 AM, a local resident allegedly used a pestle to kill both his wife and daughter in cold blood. Police moved swiftly to arrest the accused, Ravishankar Mishra, on the exact same night and have initiated a detailed investigation to uncover the precise motives and circumstances behind the crime. Details of the Brutal Attack
According to available details, the accused Ravishankar first attacked his wife, Sunaina Mishra, with a pestle, resulting in her immediate death. He then tried to call his brother to inform him about the incident. When his brother did not arrive at the spot immediately, Ravishankar allegedly turned his aggression toward his unmarried daughter, Khushi Mishra, who lived in Rewa. He attacked and killed her as well. Police have successfully recovered the heavy pestle used in the commission of the crime from the scene.

The deceased have been formally identified as Sunaina Mishra and her daughter Khushi Mishra. Ravishankar and Sunaina shared a large family with a total of six daughters. Three of the daughters are married and reside in Bhopal, another daughter is married in Devtalav (Mauganj), and Khushi was the unmarried daughter living in Rewa who fell victim to the fatal assault.
