Under the terms of this newly forged alliance, both corporate entities will investigate the establishment of a dedicated aerospace gas turbine complex. The joint initiative intends to fuse Rolls-Royce's global leadership in advanced propulsion engineering with Reliance's strengths in technology, large-scale manufacturing, and operational execution. The stated vision is to foster a self-reliant national ecosystem that can eventually compete on the world stage in advanced propulsion systems, covering everything from design and testing to through-life support via a new Aero Gas Turbine Complex.

The Monday, August 17 opening followed a challenging period for the equity. The share price previously achieved a 52-week peak of Rs 1,611.20 per share on January 5, 2026, before sliding to a 52-week trough of Rs 1,250.55 per share on July 24, 2026.
