Amid current trading conditions in the domestic equity market, leading brokerage firms have identified promising midcap and smallcap opportunities for equity investors. Fresh research assessments from Emkay Global, PL Capital, and ICICI Securities recommend buying Pine Labs, Mahindra Logistics, and Lemon Tree Hotels. Backed by solid revenue outlooks, corporate restructuring, and improving operational metrics, the brokerages estimate potential rallies ranging between 38 percent and 48 percent from their current price levels.
Pine Labs Targets ₹225 on Enterprise Expansion
In the digital payments and merchant commerce space, Emkay Global has maintained its positive outlook on Pine Labs, reaffirming a Buy recommendation. Following a close at ₹152 in the previous trading session, the brokerage has set a price target of ₹225 for the stock. This projection indicates an upside potential of 48 percent over its current market quote.
The brokerage points out that Pine Labs maintains a defensible leadership position across its in-store device and point-of-sale (POS) terminal network, largely sustained through customized corporate merchant solutions. In its expanding digital and online payment segment, the enterprise has successfully onboarded more than 25 high-volume enterprise accounts away from competing fintech providers, giving it a stable platform for recurring transaction fee growth.
Mahindra Logistics Set for 41 Percent Growth Runway
PL Capital has advised investors to build long positions in supply chain specialist Mahindra Logistics, anticipating a marked turnaround in operating profitability. The brokerage projects healthy compounded annual growth between financial year 2026 and financial year 2028, estimating a top-line CAGR of 13 percent alongside an EBITDA CAGR of 25 percent over the forecast cycle.
Supported by continuous efficiency measures, the company’s net profit is projected to touch ₹170.5 crore by fiscal year 2028. To reflect this steady trajectory, PL Capital has established a price target of ₹504 per share, representing an upside of 41 percent compared to the stock's prevailing market price.
Lemon Tree Hotels Eyes ₹156 Amid Demerger Plans
Hospitality player Lemon Tree Hotels has secured a Buy rating from ICICI Securities, with a target price established at ₹156 per share. Measured against the stock's prevailing trading price of ₹113, the objective reflects an estimated upside of 38 percent.
Key catalysts driving this optimistic projection include the company's plan to execute a corporate demerger with its 59 percent-owned subsidiary, Fleur Hotels. Beyond the organizational value unlocking expected from this separation, Lemon Tree Hotels holds a capital reserve of ₹26 billion dedicated toward expanding its property footprint and executing portfolio growth across critical hospitality destinations.
