Lottery players across Nagaland have three separate chances to win a top prize of Rs 1 crore on September 5, 2026, as the state runs its Sambad Dear Saturday Weekly lottery series through the day.
Three Draws Through The Day
The Saturday lineup opens with the Dear Vision Morning draw, which was held at 1 PM. It is followed by the Dear Elite Evening draw, which went live at 6 PM, and the day closes with the Dear Lucky Night draw, scheduled for 8 PM. Each of these three draws carries its own top prize of Rs 1 crore, meaning ticket holders effectively get three independent shots at the same jackpot amount within a single day.
Claiming Smaller Prizes Locally
Winners whose prize amount comes to less than Rs 10,000 do not need to go through any paperwork with state offices. These smaller prizes can be collected directly at designated lottery shops within Nagaland, the same outlets where tickets are sold.
The Process For Prizes Above Rs 10,000
Anyone holding a winning ticket worth more than Rs 10,000 has to follow a more formal route. The claim has to be submitted through a claim form addressed to the Director, Nagaland State Lotteries, or to the Nodal Officer. The form must clearly state the claimant's name, postal address and contact number, along with full details of the winning ticket. It also has to be accompanied by a PAN card, an Aadhaar card and bank account details, including a cancelled cheque.
Additional Paperwork Required With The Claim
Beyond the claim form itself, the guidelines call for the original winning ticket to be submitted along with three passport-size photographs of the claimant. Photocopies of all supporting documents need to be attested by a First-Class Magistrate or a Notary Public. On top of this, claimants must submit an affidavit swearing ownership of the winning ticket before the prize money above Rs 10,000 is released.
