The interest structure for fixed deposits below the threshold of 3 crore rupees varies based on the age of the account holder. General depositors aged up to 59 years receive an interest rate of 5.25 percent on a 365-day fixed deposit tenure. Account holders who have reached the age of 60 years or above are entitled to an annual interest rate of 6.75 percent on the same one-year term. Furthermore, super senior citizens who are 80 years of age or older obtain the highest yield on 365-day deposits, standing at 6.85 percent.
