Shifting focus to historical heritage, the Prime Minister spoke about the Modhera Sun Temple in Gujarat. Built in 1025 AD by King Bhimdev, this architectural marvel was targeted and demolished just a year later, in 1026 AD, during the invasions of Ghazni. This year marks exactly one thousand years since that destructive event. The Prime Minister highlighted how Modhera has beautifully bridged its tragic past with a sustainable future, evolving from a historical site into India's very first fully solar-powered village, representing a unique blend of heritage and modern technology.
