The Bhadohi rug-making belt serves as the primary backbone of India's handmade carpet shipments and holds a prestigious GI tag for its traditional craft. Reflecting the scale of this international trade, the Carpet Export Promotion Council organizes the 50th edition of the India Carpet Expo, widely recognized as Asia's largest carpet trade fair.
