Describing this group as "Generation Gutter," her remarks quickly sparked intense reactions across social platforms and political circles.

The lawmaker voiced strong disapproval regarding how certain young Hindu women approach their personal and professional lives. She pointed out that while many aspire to emulate the lifestyle of self-reliant career women, they are unwilling to put in the grueling effort required to earn true autonomy. According to her, genuinely independent women make bold and unconventional decisions, hold firm convictions, build distinct career paths, and take complete accountability for their choices without relying on their parents or families for financial backing.
Continuing her critique, Kangana characterized this emerging cohort of Indian youth as overly influenced by Western culture, claiming they contribute little of value to society or governance systems. She alleged that individuals within this group often show little aptitude for academic pursuits or household duties, yet take pride in displaying an unregulated lifestyle associated with alcohol and drug use. She further asserted that they unabashedly depend on parental funds while demanding complete freedom.
