United States President Donald Trump has taken a major step against several prominent media organizations by barring CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House. This ban has been enforced with immediate effect. The President accused these news organizations of persistently broadcasting false reports and fabricated stories.
Reasons Behind the White House Ban
Trump announced this decision through a post on the social media platform Truth Social. He claimed that these media outlets constantly publish fiction and lies while covering the President of the United States, the Trump Administration, and the country itself. According to him, news organizations should not be permitted to continuously mislead the public when reporting on the government.
Allegations Regarding Government Funding
During the announcement, specific financial allegations were also raised against Politico. Trump claimed that under the administration of Joe Biden, the outlet received an illegal subscription payment amounting to eight million dollars directly from the United States Government to keep the organization afloat, a move he described as corruption.
Future Restrictions on More Outlets
Addressing MS NOW, the announcement noted that the network had recently changed its name from MSNBC due to a lack of viewership and credibility. Concluding his statement, the President warned that other media outlets engaging in similar reporting practices would soon face identical bans from entering the White House.
