Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has officially inaugurated the 'Mukhyamantri Shikshak Cashless Chikitsa Yojana' to provide better healthcare access to the state's teaching community and staff. This significant initiative is designed to support approximately 12 lakh teachers, Shikshamitras, instructors, and other education department staff by ensuring they receive high-quality medical treatment without the burden of out-of-pocket expenses. Under this scheme, beneficiaries can avail of cashless medical services worth up to ₹5 lakh at hospitals empanelled by the state government.
