Two cities in Uttar Pradesh, each celebrated for a distinct industrial identity, are set to mark a significant day today. Firozabad, popularly called the Glass City, and Aligarh, recognized as the Lock City, will together witness the inauguration and foundation stone laying of scores of development projects. Firozabad to See 81 Projects Worth Over Rs 658 Crore
In Firozabad, 81 development projects with a combined cost of over Rs 658 crore are scheduled for inauguration or groundbreaking today. The investment is aimed at strengthening the Glass City's civic infrastructure and expanding facilities available to its residents.
Aligarh Gets 85 Projects Worth Rs 462 Crore
Aligarh, known as the Lock City, has been allocated 85 development projects worth Rs 462 crore, with both inaugurations and new foundation stone layings on the day's agenda. The Pradhan Mantri Awas scheme was also referenced as part of the broader announcement.
