Akanksha Had Already Made Headlines with Her Divorce Announcement
Akanksha Chamola had already become the centrepiece of conversation since the premiere episode of Lock Upp 2, when she dropped a bombshell during the 'Expose' task by revealing that she and her husband Gaurav Khanna are heading for a divorce. She told the house, 'Gaurav and I are getting divorced. We have been living separately for the past one year and nobody knew about this.'
She was careful to add, though, that the separation carries no ill feeling between them. 'Things are not bad between Gaurav and me. We still talk to each other. We just don't think we are right for each other as partners because our visions for the future are very different,' she explained. Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola had dated for a few years before tying the knot on November 24, 2016 in Kanpur.
