Anticipation for Netflix's upcoming reality show 'Lock Up 2' has been building among viewers, and now two fresh faces have been added to its contestant list. Yogesh Rawat and Akanksha Chaudhary, who made their name on 'Splitsvilla', will appear on the show as inmates. The update was shared with fans on social media by Munawar Faruqui, the winner of the first season.

The names confirmed so far

The show had already won over audiences with its first season, and that success is exactly why the makers are bringing back a second one. Earlier, Ekta Kapoor revealed the names of three inmates, Ram Kapoor, Shivangi Joshi and Pamela Serena. At the end of that same video, Yogesh and Akanksha are introduced as the new contestants. The clip featuring these former 'Splitsvilla' contestants became a talking point as soon as it surfaced.

Fans shower love

Since the video went viral, a wide mix of reactions has poured in for Yogesh and Akanksha on social media. Their fans are clearly thrilled to see them on 'Lock Up'. One fan tweeted, 'The king and queen of TRP are back on screen, let's get started.' Episodes will premiere on Netflix from Saturday to Wednesday at 8 PM, with streaming kicking off on 27 June 2026.

From Splitsvilla to Lock Up

Yogesh Rawat and Akanksha Chaudhary have been in the spotlight ever since 'Splitsvilla 16'. Their on-screen story of love and betrayal kept social media buzzing for months. Now the same pair is set to appear together again on a new reality show, 'Lock Up: Sach Ya Saza'.
