Tejashwi Yadav specifically called out Union Ministers Chirag Paswan and Jitan Ram Manjhi, criticizing their political stance on the matter. He noted that both leaders have continuously contested elections from reserved seats and reaped the associated benefits, yet they remain allied with political formations that allegedly seek to roll back affirmative action. Drawing a distinction about his own background, he maintained that he has never utilized reservation for himself.
