The 48th ACJM Court in Bengaluru provided significant legal relief to actor Prakash Raj on Friday, July 10, regarding a case involving multiple voter identification cards. Allegations had been raised that the actor possessed four separate voter ID cards, which sparked a legal controversy. The situation intensified when the court issued a non-bailable warrant against him, leading to heightened scrutiny and significant legal pressure on the actor.
Court Appearance and Warrant Cancellation
Following the issuance of the warrant, Prakash Raj’s legal team immediately stepped in to file an application requesting the withdrawal of the order. On Friday, July 10, the actor appeared personally before the court to address the matter. Upon his attendance, the judge presided over the hearing and ultimately decided to cancel the previously issued non-bailable warrant.
Bail Conditions and Legal Outcome
While granting bail, the court imposed a specific condition on the actor to ensure compliance with the ongoing legal process. Prakash Raj was ordered to deposit a cash bail amount of 4,000 rupees with the court. Once the formalities regarding the bail bond were completed, he was officially granted relief. This development marks a temporary conclusion to the legal challenges he faced in relation to the voter identification dispute.
