A major development has emerged from the Bharatpur district of Rajasthan in the brutal murder case of former MLA Atar Singh Bhadana, where the local police have achieved a significant breakthrough. The primary accused in the case, Mukesh, son of Hargyan Singh and popularly known as Mukesh Fauji, has finally been captured by law enforcement. Ever since the violent incident, the accused had been continuously absconding and running away from the authorities. The police had received crucial intelligence inputs suggesting that he was planning to escape towards Dholpur via the Karauli district. Acting swiftly on this precise information, Bharatpur Superintendent of Police Rajesh Mina immediately dispatched police teams and successfully cornered and apprehended the accused in Karauli.
Immediately following his arrest, the police transported the main accused Mukesh Fauji directly to the Weir police station. There, in the presence of SP Rajesh Mina, ASP Dharmendra Yadav, and investigating officer Kailash Choudhary, he is being subjected to intense and rigorous interrogation. Senior officials believe that questioning Mukesh will uncover several vital secrets hidden behind this heinous murder. The police administration is working strategically by interrogating the suspect to trace the exact locations of other absconding co-conspirators involved in this brutal killing and to arrest them at the earliest.
Deep Roots in Bhonda Village and Army Background
The entire incident is rooted in Bhonda village, located within the Bayana area of Bharatpur district, which is also the native place of Mukesh Fauji. It was in this very village that former MLA Atar Singh Bhadana was put to death using heavy sticks and sharp weapons. Regarding his background, Mukesh Fauji served in the Indian Army for approximately 15 years, dedicating a significant portion of his life to national service. After retiring from the armed forces and returning to his native village Bhonda, he gradually began dabbling in active local politics. Around that time, an agitation erupted in the village concerning the removal of encroachments on pasture land, and he actively participated in it. Before long, he transformed himself into the central leader and driving force behind this entire movement.
Arrested Just Before the Demolition Deadline
In the official First Information Report lodged by the wife of the deceased former MLA Atar Singh Bhadana, Mukesh Fauji was specifically named as a key perpetrator. Following his continued disappearance after the murder, the local administrative authorities had issued a formal notice to run a bulldozer over his house. Police managed to arrest him just moments before the deadline for this impending bulldozer action was set to expire. The authorities are now thoroughly digging up the complete criminal background of the accused. Five other suspects in this case have already been taken into police remand earlier, and with the apprehension of the main accused, the hidden layers of the case are expected to unravel rapidly.
