A heated domestic argument escalated into a fatal crime in Banswara city, Rajasthan, resulting in the tragic death of a young man. In the Maruti Nagar area of Bhavanpur, a brother-in-law attacked his wife's brother following a minor dispute. The victim, Anil, son of Narsingh Banjara, sustained severe sword injuries to his stomach and passed away while being transported to Udaipur for medical care.
Spur-of-the-Moment Violence Following Verbal Altercation
The violent encounter occurred within the jurisdiction of the Rajtalab police station in Bhavanpur. According to detailed information regarding the incident, an argument initially broke out over an issue between the accused, Rajesh, son of Gorilal, and his brother-in-law, Anil Banjara. As the verbal dispute quickly intensified, Rajesh lost his temper, retrieved a sword kept nearby, and struck Anil directly in the abdomen. Anil collapsed at the scene, bleeding heavily from the deep wound.
Emergency Referral and Death En Route to Medical Center
Family members and nearby residents immediately gathered to assist the critically injured young man, rushing him to Mahatma Gandhi (MG) Hospital in Banswara. Attending doctors provided emergency primary treatment; however, given his extremely precarious condition, they immediately referred him to a specialized facility in Udaipur. Relatives placed Anil in an ambulance to travel to Udaipur, but due to massive blood loss, he succumbed to his injuries on the way before reaching the destination.
Police Investigation and Search Operations for Absconding Suspect
Upon receiving news of the fatal attack, a team from the Rajtalab police station promptly dispatched to the crime scene and conducted a thorough forensic inspection. Police officers took custody of the deceased's body and placed it in the district hospital mortuary. Based on a formal complaint submitted by the victim's family, procedures for a post-mortem examination were initiated. Law enforcement officials have registered a murder case against the accused brother-in-law, Rajesh, and are launching targeted raids across suspected locations to apprehend the fleeing suspect.
