Jai Narayan Vyas University in Jodhpur has provided significant relief to candidates applying for PhD admissions by extending the online application deadline to September 7. The university administration took this decision after receiving fewer applications than the available seats in several departments by the previously scheduled date.
Extended deadline opens new doors
The extension of the timeline offers an opportunity to those candidates who were unable to apply within the initial timeframe due to various reasons. Online applications are currently being accepted for PhD admissions across various departments of the university, and the extended date ensures that more eligible individuals can participate in the admission process.
Opportunities for NET and JRF qualified candidates
Following the recent declaration of UGC NET and JRF results, a pathway for PhD admission has opened up for successful candidates. Those who cleared the exams can now submit their online applications for PhD programs. The extended deadline ensures that newly eligible aspirants can join the application process smoothly. Candidates are required to apply online according to the prescribed rules and eligibility criteria set by the university, and subsequently complete further formalities as per the requirements of the respective departments.
Hard copy submission deadline set for September 14
Candidates who complete their online applications must submit a hard copy of the form along with all necessary certificates and documents to the respective department by September 14. Additionally, relief has been granted to students who applied earlier as well as those whose categories were updated following the recent NET results. Such students will be provided an opportunity for online category correction after the final application deadline. This decision by the university grants candidates extra time while allowing them to update their eligibility and category details following the latest academic results.
